John Korir ran 2:01:52 to shatter the Boston Marathon course record as 13 men broke 2:06 in the deepest race in Boston history.  Zouhair Talbi rran 2:03:45, the fastest ever by an American citizen and Charles Hicks became the 2nd fastest at 2:04:35.

John Korir smashed the Boston Marathon course record in 2:01:52 as three men went under the old mark. Zouhair Talbi ran 2:03:45, the fastest ever by an American citizen, and Charles Hicks' 2:04:35 also ran faster than Conner Mantz's American record.
