What a crazy weekend of (North) American running and we break it all down on the LetsRun.com Track Talk podcast.
Cooper Teare and Cole Hocker may have come up short, but everything else exceeded expectations. Grant Fisher ran 12:53 for 5,000m with the “B” heat being won in 13:05, Gabriella DeBues-Stafford ran 14:31 and Elise Cranny 14:33 to crus the North American and American records. A virtual unknown, the Atlanta Track Club’s Shane Streich got the American record at 1,000m, Yared Nuguse the collegiate 3000m record, not to mention the high school 800 record by Roisin Willis.
