Well this virus ruined the outdoor season, which is just awful. I was happy to get 2 weeks off after an awful ending to my indoor season (Got low on Iron and blew up in the 5k at my championship meet). My goal for Summer Training is to get into the triple digits (90 being my best, although I got hurt during the last run of the week due to running in shoes that I most likely should have not been running in). I'm going into my sophomore season of college xc, and I really want to make a big jump (26:20-25:00). When I ran 26:20, the course was super flat, but it was super muddy as well. For indoor, I ran 8:39 for 3k (perfect race, ran a 2:41 last k), 15:50 for 5k (Horrible start, was last through the mile in 4:50, a dick swinging contest where everyone fell off after 4k), and I just have horrible luck with mile (4:34). If I built my mileage up to 130 in the beginning of season, would I have a shot at running around 25 minutes on a flat and fast course? I just ran 60 miles in my first week back.
