The post WAS racist. For all the reasons I explained. You did nothing to debunk my points.

What are your thoughts about Asian runners? I am Filipino but am friends with many Japanese runners. Are they wired differently than Western runners?
(Btw my adopted name is American but my birth name is also Renato).
Proof?
First I heard of this. I don't doubt your statement, but would love to see verification. I always thought they were from money.
Food stamps? Even poor people I know try to avoid food stamps--they want to have some pride.
That's interesting--so even for a hobbyjogger, it should be working on getting faster on shorter distances (say 5:40 pace for 3), instead of going 6:20 pace for 5, etc.
Then working the 5:40 pace for 4, then for 5, and so on?
Interesting life story. Ran around cemeteries when she was younger?
Road to the Trials
How did you start running?
I began running when I was 5 years old, running around a cemetery with my dad (rather strange I know). I participated in PE in grade school where we did the 1 mile shuttle run and I really enjoyed it because I found I could beat boys. I didn’t take running very seriously in high school, partied a lot, missed practices, and took any excuse to not run. My father passed away my senior year when I was 18, and I think I fell in love with running after that.

Reality is that only a total genetic freak of European decent can compete with the East African runners, 1 in a 10,000 European runners have the genetics of 1 in 100 East Africans for long distance running. In terms of Europeans sprinting against West Africans it's maybe even more dramatic, you may get the occasional genetic freak like Lemaitre but there it's maybe 1 in 100,000 Europeans can compete with the genetics of 1 in 100 West Africans for sprinting.
Reality is Racist, most Europeans need to dope to compete with the Africans in running, just as the same would be in reverse in swimming... when you give East Africans the European American shoe technology/training/doping methods then there's no chance in hell at that elite level. Brutal truth.
Who says Lemaitre is clean, he's a med student/doctor. Besides even if he isn't doping he's still a colossal French dingleberry.
Again, I had never heard of Bruce until this thread so I don’t know enough about her motives, but what she said is factually untrue: there have been virtually zero positives coming out of Ethiopia, Uganda or Eritrea, so “the East African countries” are not testing positive. There’s a problem in Kenya which was started by these same foreign athletes, coaches and agents. That’s just one country. So, yes. Her statement is racist.

Yes. For a white American, the problem is she does not have to be accurate about East Africa , she can make a blanket statement. If the post was " It seems like a rise in pedophiles among the American Jews " people would be up triggered " . re: Woody Allen, Weinstein, Epstein..... et.

Rojo, this post WAS racist. Let me explain.
Stephanie Bruce used Ruth Jebet to imply that there are a lot of positive tests coming out of Kenya and Ethiopia. Ruth does not run for either country. She made this assumption by looking at the color of Ruth's skin. Being born in Kenya doesn't matter in this instance. She competes for another country entirely.
Additionally, Bruce didn't imply that she was speaking specifically to white runners. Her post implicated african born runners like Alphiline, Paul Chelimo and Sally--and cast suspicion on them for the crime of going home to visit her family. Her post had far reaching implications. She needs to do better.
Yup. By her own model - Rupp must be sweating EPO given his coach was just banned for 4 years! Where is her rabid obsession with Gaylen?
At this rate the only way people will believe East Africans aren't doping if they stop winning ... and that won't happen this century.

She cannot include Rupp, then her friend Kara would be part of her racist finger pointing . Plus Rupp, Kara and Jordan are light skinned and speak english .
Richest country in the world, yes, yet there is a "Freakonomics" element to it all. A lot of third world countries can beat the US in drug trafficking just like a lot of third world countries can beat the US when it comes to third-world grade-schoolers having better math skills than inner city teenagers in New York and Chicago and other slums in America.
