How can someone be a head coach of a college team and be an Agent? This seems to be a conflict of interest to me and shocked NAIA allows this to continue.

It seems perfectly complimentary.
Right! As if an agent for football could also be a college football coach. Makes perfect sense
I do not believe he would be allowed to coach at an NCAA institution and remain an agent, hence that is why he coaches in the NAIA which allows this. More importantly, he is one hell of a coach and his athletes are very fortunate to be coached by him and his presence makes the NAIA much better.

He's an agent for pros and coaches kids who have no shot at every being pros. No conflict whatsoever. That's why NAIA allows it.
Agree. Great guy and coach
Much the same way Haas can be an agent without being an agent?
Chris Layne is a heck of a coach. He chooses to stay NAIA so he can continue being an agent - which he is also very good at obviously.
Why hate on someone for following the rules?
Chris Layne is a very fine man with a knack for training his ole sons the right way.
I don't see a problem with it at all. Stop smearing someone's name for no good reason at all.
