The top athletes are bailing to train for the Olympics. It's silly to peak for indoors when an Olympic medal is once every 4 years.

Centro won the gold in both Indoors and the Olympics in 2016.
I think most of the people that bailed did so because World Indoors got pushed back a year, not for fear of needing to peak.
Did USA Indoors ever attract the majority of good athletes in the country? Or have runners as a whole always selectively cared about running this meet?
How is it Schweizer qualifies for the 3k with no time?
World Athletics says that Baker will be in the 60m Glasgow on Saturday, so probably no Baker at the USATFs this weekend. Seems that Coleman will be there despite not racing yet this season and Nanjing was cancelled... Oh well, it's Albuquerque, might as well go for a PB/WR I guess? I don't think even Kemp will challenge him, pity Baker probably won't be there.
So what is up with mclaughlin??
new balance cant be happy on how she's taking their money and not doing anything more than finding more disgusting ways to paint eyebrows on her head.

She was 2nd in the world championships, running the 2nd best time ever.
great and 20 years ago i ran a 1:46.3 800.
run a freakin race once in a while
Can anyone explain why no collegiate athletes entered? Let's say if they have conference the following weekend and are technically available to run and had a time qualified, why would they not enter? Is there a NCAA rule prohibiting that?
It was literally the last important race that's been held.

CC probably staying stateside because he would be tested if he went anywhere else.
Baker could win it if he shows up.
Otherwise, Kemp. 6.50 is no joke.
I wish Gatlin would race, what the hell, why not. Fun, get to see people, a 60 isn’t going to kill you, a weekend in NM won’t disrupt training to any significant extent. He’s on his way out, so race!

Nope. On her Instagram post about Wanamaker, she says:
"That’s it for my indoor season, now it’s time for some bigger tracks and bigger dreams to chase...."

Should've had a prediction contest...That's 8/8. Have to admit it was pretty predictable, so not that impressive.
