The problem is that the other manufacturers have not brought to market a similar shoe in almost 5 years of time !! Pathetic. The Chinese can copy a complex device in weeks, but the other shoe companies can’t do it. There are no secrets here- hundreds of people have dissected their VF on YouTube.

Yes, and the Chinese are oblivious to patent law as well. On this side of the world, you don't want to go knee deep into Patent law litigation $$$
