Not claiming anything just pondering the reasons for Andy's departure. this is probably not the case just thinking

Could also be why Martin Smith and Vin left????
This seems unlikely. There are plenty of other more plausible explanations. There were several threads here discussing rumors of the Powells getting sideways with Johnson. Just before they left, those rumors even made it into the Oregon papers. Personalities aside, there's the whole "I could be a head coach/I should be a head coach" dynamic. They had been at Oregon for 13 years.
Who wouldn't love to hear Vin's take on Salazar's troubles?

Now we really know why Dellinger retired seemingly abruptly. Tom Heinonen moving on was yet another domino in the chain Salazar tipped over.
It might be why Lagarret Blount didn’t stick around E-Ville for his Sr year although my better judgement tells me it had more to do with punching Byron Hout from Boise State.

Not only why, but who was behind it.
Ah, Tom Heinonen, Oregon's less celebrated and somewhat forgotten legend. Doesn't get enough public credit for what he did from the U of O.
U of O is fully a Swooshbot. If you aren't a high profile legend and are able (aka alive and unwilling) to successfully prevent your likeness and image from being twisted to their uses, they have no use for you.
How did Duck Women's basketball team play Team USA after the NCAA season had started. Does this happen a lot. Do Duke and Kentucky men’s programs do this.
I always wondered why Bowerman abruptly turned the program over to Dellinger.

And why do you think Bowerman was slipstreamed into taking over the program from Hayward, huh? It's about as obvious as a Che Guevara t-shirt on an undergrad.
His wife didn't get along with the head coach.
So THAT'S why it no longer says Osaga on the big board.
I’m sure he left because Portland gave him the keys vs driving shotgun , and I’m sure money was a factor as well , look at milt I’m sure the biggest factor there was money when he was returning a top 3 caliber team at Stanford. I doubt this had anything to do with Salazar. At the end of the day he didn’t get to pick we’re these guys in there pro careers and along that even if he did he wouldn’t be the one to blame even if he did think that was the best option from an outside lender ultimately that’s your decision as the athlete, as we saw with what Jenny Simpson said but I guess that’s just brutal
Maybe that's why Salazar left?
