Is because the whole slow twitch fast twitch isn’t what makes someone fast or slow?
There are two premises here:
a) Kipcoge and other endurance athletes are "slow twitch"
b) The ability to run a sub-12 100m or sub-50 400m requires above average "fast-twitch" characteristics.
One of them is false.
