Give the children blood food instead of vegetarian

It's not just a matter of climate when, like the Preschool Guitar in Umeå , you choose meat and meat products for children. No one talks about important minerals that the children are losing. It is well known that iron is one of the most important nutrient for growing children.

Sure, there are in spinach and other leafy vegetables and some in cereals and beans / lentils, but children who have a large energy need have to eat kilos to absorb the daily need of iron. In addition, it is a lower intake of vegetable iron.

As a former child dietitian with extensive experience in children's nutritional intake, I do not recommend that the meat be removed from the preschool. Iron and vitamin D are often poorly represented when counting on children's food intake.

The old homemaker's diet, where also intestinal food (for example sausage) and blood food was included in the school food voucher, should rather be highlighted. Game like moose and reindeer contains most iron and should also be served instead of iron-poor chicken.

Studies show that a growing brain needs iron.

Except that parents, more or less, aren't free to send their children elsewhere and/or keep them at home. And the government runs the schools.

In reality, any Swedish person who would think they might have the slightest bit of control over their child's development is the real deluded one in the first place, as the society has junked any parental input for many decades by now.

Umeå has a population of 100k or something, that pre-school has maybe 100 kids. Im pretty sure its not hard to find crap that one could consider waaay more extreme if you look around in USA

Try that in some US ghetto school; there'd be a food fight and riot. All them veggies and fruit would get thrown out.

I am against children not eating meat. Parents who impose their vegetarianism on their children just because they want to are wrong.
