My boss keeps talkin smack at work. He’s pretty quick with sprints as you might imagine but he’s a little too cocky about his overall fitness. I’m gonna make him respect my distance-running thunder-thighs.
I ran for a D3 school. My 1600 PR is 4:29. Right now I’m in about 4:36 shape on 35-45mpw, some quality track and threshold work, and casual racing.
He swears he ran sub-5 in HS and could break 6 right now. Not sure I believe him but just in case I want to get in better shape so I can lap him. We have 5 weeks to train.
