As a society, we must be diligent of everything we do and it's effects.
I am thinking of ordering a pizza from a pizza joint about 1 and 3/4 miles away.
I could walk there I suppose but it's rather late and I covered likely 4 miles this morning.
The greenhouse gases from the delivery will go into the atmosphere.
I don't necessarily see it as a negative event.
It would be better if my delivery included at least one other order.
I still am hungry and want to eat.
I am no politician.
I am just aware.
If I order pizza a few times in a week, does that make me a bad guy?
I use public transit and walk everywhere else.
Before recently ordering a pizza on September 20 and 22, I last ordered one on August 23.
That's a significant break of pollution.
I also might fry an egg and forget the pizza for tonight altogether.
