ever heard of the phrase its a marathon not a sprint... anything over once around a track is a marathon. i have a friend who does triathalons. He says the same thing. There are different distance triathalons like an iron one or a sprinting one. Both triathalons but both different distances. Same with running a 5 kilometer race or a 10 kilometer race. Both are marathons but just different distances ones.
