How about that
How about that
This got me thinking of Bekele. How much would he destroy the field if he did cross country skiing. He is already done it in cross country. It would be amazing to see him in a Winter Olympics.
Keeps looking at her watch. Runs like Joan Benoit Samuelson.
Also from her Wikipedia:
"In October 2016 Johaug was suspended for a period of 18 months due to a positive drug test....The ointment she claims to have used is called Trofodermin. It contains Clostebol. A big red warning label with the word “Doping” is normally printed on its packaging."
Bekele has never even seen snow. This is what it looked like when he attempted cross country skiing after 2 years of training https://youtu.be/AVcsaDha2m4
Bekele could be great at cross country skiing. He has the power in his legs. He must have seen snow from some of his cross country running or from being at altitude in Ethiopia. It literally snows in the higher mountains of Ethiopia.
More muscles in shoulders and arms than many heptathletes...
She trains approx 1000 hours/year including a lot of strength.
That was her doctors fault. He lost his job.
Obviously running with your mouth WIDE open is key. I will start tomorrow.

Norway is the new doping epicenter. Look at their Olympic history: 1 medal in women's running events, 3 medals in men's running events. Suddenly they are putting out top tier talent in numerous running events.
XC skiing would never be dominated by Africans. Its entirely different. Has more to do with power. Kenyans would need to be much stronger and heavier.
BMI for nordic skiiers is 22+

Norway has a lot of asthmatic athletes.
It's because they are doing endurance training in cold temperatures
I think skiiers from the past did it, but not her. You could see her lip
It's the shoes.
Hoka Carbon X
Seriously, I've never seen anyone look at their watch so much during a race. Insanity.
She looked at her watch 8x the first lap alone!
My first thought was she runs like a XC skier, using her arms as if she had poles in them.

Second half of the race she looks like she's trying to eat the air in a sort of violent away. If this is what a XC skiier looks like running I have to say it's painful to watch. She's fast for sure, but man does it not look graceful one bit.
