Go Pro|. The money dries up after the Olympics.
I'm surprise Sinclaire Johnson isn't getting more hype after NCAA's and now this 800. Very impressive!
C’mon guys!!!! Who has “MF” as a middle name? Let’s be real
Can she beat Sammy?

Really. It needs to stop. From the top down. It's really vulgar imagery and should never be allowed at Letsrun.

I thought she beat Sammy in that same race?
Best Hull at NCAA in 95 degree Heat. Hull run 4:02 a few weeks later. NCAA Record meet record at 1500m, 2:00 for 800m. This very likely America’s next sub 4:00 1500 runner. This kid is going to make the Worlds team later this month.
The W1500 is going to be brutal. Shelby and Jenny are a lock. That leaves Nikki, Sinclaire and Elle battle for the final two spots with Alexa and Dani right on their heels. The best event for the US right now.
How on earth is she not going pro? And don’t tell me it’s because she wants a degree from Oklahoma State!
Watch it!
Shelby
Simpson
Sinclair

I agree with this, and with adding it to the standard policies.

I disagree.
My understanding is that it's actually Sinclaire Johnson with a 'c' and she doesn't use initials in her name.
I did not know that she was a Florida hs runner with bests of 56.7/2:09/4:57. That was in 2016. She has come a long way, nine seconds in the half and roughly 33 seconds in the 1500/mile. Maybe she should stay at Oklahoma State just because she is getting great coaching and improvement there and how much can you make anyway even as a 3:59 1500m runner, which she is not yet but could be in another race with 2:00/4:0x.
I do agree it might be a smart move to stick with Ok State for One more year. Changing up a routine hat is working in some cases could be risky. This said - Hitting her peak perfectly after three long seasons while at Ok State next year is a greater risk. Everybody knows that the best year to get a lucrative co tract is the year before the Olympics. This is her chance to capitalize on her worth as an emerging athlete while also having a better chance to slip onto the Olympic Team. Rushing back for the Big 12 meet is risky - (after making the worlds)
Just an opinion.
If you can secure a contract for a decent amount and several years, you take it. Period.
If Coach Smith doesn't want her to hang around in Stillwater and coach her, then find another group.

Umm, Kate Grace who just ran 4:02 and 1:59? Assuming she doesn't opt for the 800m of course which may be a wise decision.
The best events for the US right now are the 100mh and 400mh.

Fun fact: She competed in the same high school athletic conference as Jenny Simpson, years later of course. Florida distance running is tough. At Regionals you are doing the 3200 when is is 85 degrees at 11am; you never race when it is cooler than about 77 degrees with high humidity after March 15th or so. Times will be slower.
1:49.84 - 800m Freshmen National Record - Cooper Lutkenhaus (check this kick out!!)

Emma Coburn to miss Olympic Trials after breaking ankle in Suzhou
VALBY has graduated (w/ honors) from Florida, will she go to grad school??
