As I have posted before, everyone in this sport reads Letsrun and and the forums. EVERYONE.
Some may deny it of course, but in their own rooms, EVERYONE is whipping out their phones and checking out the LRC chatter. Alberto reads LRC and gets raging mad.
It is only human nature to find the coverage of your chosen activity. The pros might not like the trolls, but they still read LRC because who else provided in-depth coverage and analysis?
Think about it: LRC is basically the ONLY well-trafficked place on the internet where knowledgeable fans congregate.
NOBODY ELSE CARES.
Hell, the IAAF can barely tolerate the 5k and 10k, you think anyone else cares?
Because of LRCs somewhat prickly reputation (because of anti-doping stance, criticism of Nike, and anonymous boards) pros like to PRETEND they don't visit the site, but they all do.
