Thanks for all the support and encouragement, everyone. Turns out I just don't quite have what it takes.
I'm disappointed, but in the end, I didn't choose W&L because I wanted to run there. I chose it because it was the best fit academically. If competing at the collegiate level was the most important thing to me, I would have chosen Rhodes or Sewanee.
