well make up your mind buddy, you are the one distorting the facts here.
the original point by someones wrong on the internet was that 1:45 would win the NCAA. in order to refute this you altered it by adding the rider, "on a good year." so Cotton Shirt made the perfectly valid point that in the entire history of the NCAA 1:45 has won the title in all but 6 years, that means 1:45 has won it 45 times out of 51 which is 88.2% of the time but you call this patently obvious truth a "bullshit statistic" and fall back on your completely made up, "on a good year."
moving the goal posts does not constitute "a thoughtful discussion."
you're wrong. you know it. you are in no position to talk about anyone else's intellect, and you're not even man enough to admit it.
It’s a joke kids, calm down
He substituted miles for km. Listen, he's not capable of that workload. Too fragile and an 800m specialist. They should learn from NOP and Brazier/Murphy.
Yeah Amos needs to switch groups ASAP, he is a 400/800 man for allahs sake he was a part of the 2:59 4x400 Botswana squadron and a 45.xx runner, he has no place in Oregon or at least training that way. It’s a miracle he’s running as fast as he is
"-2x20x100 jog straights jog turns
-spike up
-jog to trail
-7 mile cut down
-300@45 400@45 (I think he meant 55??)"
What is the first thing if straights AND turns are jogged???
Spike up THEN jog in them to ... Amazon Trail from South Eugene H.S.???
300@45 ... for 800M racers, wow, underwhelming.
It is clearly all a joke...

Still explains why Harun Abda is an actually garbage runner and needs to get dropped though

Also are you actually retarded???
Telling me to admit that I’m wrong in the middle of an argument? Still you don’t even read my full posts, 3 times now I’ve have stated on a good year 1:45 will not win NCAA’s, you keep using a statistic from when over 40 years ago when 1:44 was top 5 in the world. I have specified in the past 15 years about 800m times as they are actually relevant.
Also the original comment was about him as a pro running 1:45.69 which would place him 5187 all time, which is complete shite.
If someone runs X time then they will forever be an "X guy". I'm not sure why this is difficult to grasp. Bekele at the age of 95 will still be a 12:37 guy. Moran.
The other point is that 1:45 can make the Olympics. The standard has never been faster than 1:45, even now with the new monstrously difficult standards. So to act like 1:45 isn't very good is quite ignorant and just plain dumb. It reveals your lack of knowledge of the sport. Or your insecurities. Or both.
+1
Just go to another thread. This type of person will never admit being wrong. You're wasting your time and energy. Seems to be a very angry person.

What's the deal with this clown? Is he a high schooler?
Yeah your right but what I pointed out was that he sucks right now and is no where near his pb, therefore nothing special so it doesn’t matter if you don’t know him.
Which is where the other guy said you don’t follow the sport if you don’t know pepperoni co.ck mouth by his breath and I just pointed out no one cares about tier 2 pro runners
What’s the deal with you? out of all the shite things I’ve said on this thread you chose the most accurate one, most people agree with that.

That’s a lot of running, and depending on what 7 mile cut down means it was over 23 miles
That has to be trolling. No way that’s a single workout session. If it’s true it explains why I haven’t heard of this guy.
Yea, no way. He's pulling your leg. Who in their right mind would every do an 8 mile w-up? That's a give away right there.

Wow ,,, this "Buttstuff" guy really sucks ... can't get along with anyone.
I witnessed this workout. What you guys are missing is that this is in fact considered an easy day in their training program. It isn't publicly known yet but most of these supposed "mid-d" guys on OTC are actually training for Nike's next breaking 2 marathon attempt. Its pretty heavily under wraps but its the truth.
Actually funny enough in the comments of that post one of the Oregon runners said recovery day.
Haha, awesome, good point. This is funny.

Late April Fools. Split mistakes were on purpose but the tell is drills after the run.

What's the difference between warm up and jog? Jog straights jog turns is just continuous jogging, so I think this can simply be added to the warm up mileage.
