What are you talking about.? The guy creates free content for us. He had 3 cameras on this race, which may end up being the fastest 1500m of the NCAA season. Then he spent time putting it all together. You can see Villarreal’s race unfold... a lot of great footage. Great shot of the mid pack’s last 50m. The race footage is getting better and better.
I would say “keep it up” and I would love it if a few more guys would do the same (NAU, BYU, Stanford...). There are a lot of great races that we never get to see (or only see with terrible camera angles).

+1 I concur.
I watch this guy's videos, and I enjoy them, but a question from the uninitiated (i.e. me) - just how good is he? I can see that place wise, he hasn't done well, but is this an impressive time for a 1500m runner?

He will almost certainly be a LOT BETTER than his father EVER WAS, It is just Evolution/law of nature, every generation (Generally) improves on the one that preceded it.
I can’t believe an actual adult thinks that this is how evolution works. It’s not something that happens magically within one generational cycle, and it’s not something that happens at all in the absence of selective pressure or selective breeding.
Think Nick mis-remembered Theo's birthday. As noted above, he was born in 1999 and is a senior this year. Athletics New Zealand has the mark on its annual list for Open Men, not junior.

According to Nick Willis, it's a New Zealand junior record.
It would be great if Nick Willis has company for his record fourth Olympic final in Tokyo.

You honestly don't know if a 3:57 mile is good or not?

His best before that was 3:47.54!!!! That's a phenomenal improvement. He's born on Dec 27, 1999. So he would still be a junior if he was born 5 days later. It will be interesting to see what he does in the next 2 months.
Very impressive. I find it funny that this 3:39 at the same race the Spencer Brown's 3:39 was run seems impressive to most other posters but Spencer's wasnt lol. Rojo, is this 3:39 also Paralympic status?

Spencer’s wasn’t as impressive because he’s not a freshman and he didn’t have a 3:47 PR before this. Quax also ran a little faster than Brown.
