Can the Boston finish line organizers not get track suits or something for the winners before the trophy ceremony? They look cold and exhausted right now.

How did Ritz do?
He's gonna run like 2:16 along with Yuki
Degefa ran Dubai 3 months ago, and then comes in and blazes Boston.
It’s insane.
And Hassan and Ayana are moving up to the marathon soon.
Dibaba has a short window to really kill stuff if she is going to do it.
19th place in 2:16:19
2:16

I've never understood this issue of 'I didn't know there was someone ahead'.
Catherine Ndereba got Silver in Beijing Olympics because 'she didn't know that Domescu (or whatever her name was) was ahead.
Question, how did she (the winner) slip out of everyone's attention?
Education system in Africa isn't the best
I said that LAWRENCE CHERONO would win. I am a product of African education system.
YOU ARE ALL WELCOME!

Desisa didn’t keep his form right!
Ethiopians will be pissed ! Ethiopians are the elite kickers over Kenyans . Kenyans are the fastest over distances
Desisa got outkicked.
Couldn’t stifle a “COME ON!!” watching in my office. Got some looks, DGAF.

Nothing but respect for Fauble and Ward running gritty.

Woo congrats on winning the hobby jogger race. Now back to coverage of real runners
Lol. I guess you didn't know. Fauble just won the actual men's marathon. The other guy from Kenya just won the dopers marathon. About as meaningful as the wheelchair race.

Congrats on the victory. Managed to get 2 guys in an average finish time for any other country.
Perspective: race was won in 2:07:XX. Two Americans within 2 minutes of the winning time is pretty darn good.

I don't think anyone is really interested in your ongoing riddle. This thread is about a race.
Ok, Cherono got a track suit AND a police escort. That's better.

Yup. Looks like the top Kenyans are slower than some average Belgian guy.
Super stoked for Lawrence Cherono, my favourite after Eliud. Was anyone watching a feed where they showed the men’s break? I’d like to see it once the video is up.

That's not an escort, they are looking for any excuse to take him into custody.
Fauble and Flanagan both 7th in breakthrough races.
Feel so bad for Desisa. Guy looked absolutely terrible but was running on all grit in that last stretch. He loves Boston and clearly wanted to get the win in front of a crowd that loves him back. A lot of times that raw emotion and truly "going to the well" seems lost in professional distance running, but Desisa brought that today. Seeing him absolutely crushed after the finish reminds me of my high schoolers. Just hope he doesn't beat himself up too much about it. Hats off to him for one of the best finishes in Boston history.
