First question:
Is your AirBNB legal within the zoning laws?
Second question:
Are you paying the appropriate taxes for it?

Just want to update that this wasn’t me. The perils of posting with an unregistered account, I guess. Truthfully, I’m not trying to be crude or funny with this post, despite acknowledging the obvious humor from an outsider’s perspective. And I’m fine with people doing whatever they want in our unit - as long as I don’t have to answer to neighbors. I received a note from the tenant who booked the unit a few minutes ago. It reads as follows: “Hi [NAME], Wanted to thank you for hosting us Wednesday night and apologize for what transpired. Every relationship is different and we should have made a better effort to understand where things stand with you and your wife, maybe something was lost in translation along the way. Anyway, my roommates and I didn’t mean to make noise, but are very sorry if you or your neighbors were woken. Please let me know if you need anything and good luck with everything. [NAME]” The ambiguous language is so confusing and I’m not sure how he would know we heard about the noise given that we haven't complained - unless he’s a LetsRun reader! At this point, I think it’s probably best to just leave the situation alone and offer quick apologies to the neighbors - but welcome any thoughts.

The poop chute mongers were at it again last night! But this time things sounded a bit more rough and we heard our things being thrown around and broken.
Wife went in there this morning because they checked out early and boy was it a mess! Broken wood furniture debris everywhere, broken beer bottles and shards of glass and about thirteen used condoms scattered around. Still scratching my head about one thing. We have twelve foot high ceilings and curtains in front of a large window in the rental space. One of the fudge packers somehow got up there without a ladder and looks to have wiped their butt on the highest part of the curtains.
So to be clear, you're fine with your wife getting regularly plowed by her ex-boss?

You had me right there.
Nice hook.

So tell me then how in the hell they got up there? After a night like that none should be able to walk let alone fly

They were dancing on the ceiling.
Maybe they threw it up there and it smeared? If you need to differentiate a smear from a wipe just check your underpants before the next time you go #2. Look at the lines and texture. Is it smooth or clumpy?

Turkey basting!
9/10.
I really like the language, it all builds up nicely. The ending could be improved.
Are you claiming all this income on your taxes? Or are you a tax cheat?

10/10 thread has literally turned to sh!t.
For those still following along, I got a concerning text from my wife a couple hours ago. It reads as follows:
“[NAME] told me he got in touch with you. There are two sides to every story and it’s important that we talk about mine. This weekend will be a good week for us to both do some thinking. Love you.”
Oddly, the tenants didn’t tell me anything about my wife or her side of a story. Should I be concerned about what happened in the unit? Should I go over and see her? (She’s staying with family in New York). Should I ask our Airbnb tenant what she’s talking about? This has been a wild couple days and I’ll take any advice that I can get.
