Just goes to show how GREAT American distance running is. Our C-class runners can go to foreign countries and CRUSH.
The 'c' in C-class is for CRUSH

Also shows superior AMERICAN coaching. Tinman and Powell should be proud.
Surprised Parsons won given it was tactical and I’d give Amos the edge in a mile.
Interesting...good result for both of them. Tip my hat to them both.
If you have tracked Sam's progress he has done a great job over the years, and loves the sport. I know the guy, and his passion for the sport is doing great things for our upcoming talent. With that being said, I would prefer that he had not gone the path of less resistance.
Regardless, he is one of the guys where I will never doubt his ethical standards in the way he approaches the sport. Keep up the good work, Sam!
Europe now has some exciting new faces:
Parsons, Wanders, Bartelsmeyer, Kerr, Duplantis...
This is becoming one of my favorite (I assume friendly) rivalries in the sport. Great guys on the rise with excellent coaches.
Konstanze ran 8:32.47 in the 3000, Alina Reh finished second in 8:43 after leading most of the race.
she jogged for 2200m, then ran home. she told afterwards, she had kind of order not to run fast. but she likes to run fast... she will become very famous and rich in Tokyo.

While I don't know exactly about Josh Kerr, Julien Wanders is 100% European. He is of mixed Swiss/French descent, and he was born and grew up at Geneva, Switzerland.

Parsons has run 3:38 (faster than Bartelsmyer's PB and coverts to 3:55) and has a faster 3k PB. The race was within 5 seconds of their respective PRs, so not as tactical as it seems.
Josh Kerr is proper Scottish mate. Irn Bru runs thorugh his veins. Only went to the US for College.
Is this the same Sam Parsons who ran for Tatnall school in Delaware several years ago?

They seem a bit light to be competing in the Discus. Are you sure that’s the event they were in? I hear Critical Velocity helps throwers improve the force at which they push their balls and discs.
The less-than-enthusiastic commentary from the German announcers on the feed over the last two laps of that race (especially compared to that of some of the other events before and after) seemed to suggest they were a bit nonplussed with the new addition to the German squad, haha. Kunststoff Frankfurter?
Mate, you new to the site? Srsly.
Haha nope I’ve been using LetsRun for around 4 years now but couldn’t pass up on the opportunity because someone always does it. Tough crowd on my CV joke, I’m sure Tom Schwartz would’ve liked it
