Roisin Willis of Stevens Point in Wisconsin ran 2:06.91 today at SPIRE.
She has insane range with the following PRS
200m 2019 Indoor 9 25.97
400m 2019 Indoor 9 56.40
800m 2019 Indoor 9 2:06.91
1 Mile 2018 Outdoor 13-14 4:59.18
Next big thing?

Yes she is. She will peak in a year or two at 2:02 and then run about 2:10 in college.
This HS has the most insane school records. Suzy (the escort) Favor and Chris Solinsky also attended Stevens Point

My first thought also! Is it the same coach? Is it the cheese? Where are these studs coming from?

Indeed. I look forward to not reading about her in a few years.

Get out of here with this crap
Sub-mountainous region, sports culture nearly forced to embrace outdoor lifestyles, trail access is superb, easy path to state meets if able to succeed moderate state standards, area high school has large student body, blue-collared town, sister program for WIAA

Why not ask the famous anthropologist, biologist, medical doctor, physiologist, sport psychologist and track & field coach, David Epstein? We need to measure femur to height ratio of Stevens Rift Valley Point, WI residents. We need DNA tests of the community to figure out if the residents are descendants of Viking hunters. We need to figure out if those born and raised at 1000ft. elevation have an unfair advantage competing at 500ft, elevation. Are those born and raised in Stevens Rift Valley Point, WI more apt to be born with exactly 50% slow twitch and exactly 50% fast twitch muscle fibers which uniquely qualifies residents of Stevens Rift Valley Point, WI for middle distance events? Is snow shoveling the best cross-training program known to man? Let's fly David Epstein out there A.S.A.P. and get the answer!
The next Laura Roesler?
Her mom is former Olympian Breeda Willlis...good genes
There have been a lot of 15 year old girls running even 2:01.
It is a phenomenon often seen with girls training hard from an early age, that they peak at about 16 and then don't improve anymore and stop running or descend to mediocre performances again.

You are an ignorant tool. 2:06 is faster than many of you can run and she is in 9th grade. You sound like a jealous loser.

First thing I thought of, also.
Roesler's PRs in high schools were:
100 - 11.9, four state titles
200 - 24.01, five state titles
400 - 53.25, six state titles
800 - 2:03.68, five state titles
Two state titles in cross country.
Incredible range. Still surprised she hasn't made an Olympic team yet.
Mary Cain ran 2:06 as a freshman also. We realize how good 2:06 is. People are just skeptical that she will develop at a normal rate. It's crazy to spend 20 hours driving a 14 year old to run for 2 minutes out of season.
I'm going out on a limb and guessing her mom is her coach:
This lady never saw a certification she didn't want.
I was thinking the same thing wrote:

Yes, Roesler was an athlete with incredible range who has done precisely nothing since college. So much promise, so little fulfillment of that promise.
Only time will tell, of course.
But putting expectations like that out there isn't realistic. Depending on where she is in terms of physical maturity, it could go either way at this point.
How many times do we see posts like this? "Really fast 8th/9th grade girl, the next biggest thing..."
Once she's setting PRs as a junior/senior in HS, then let's talk.

Made Irish team in the 5,000 in 2000.
This girl won't make it past 16. Look at mommy's bio. The girl is probably running 75MPW.
