My grounding rod is in my pants. It goes everywhere with me. Always has.

But do you ever use it?

I always assume that there is a strong inverse correlation between the amount of time a guy spends using his Johnson and the amount of time he spends telling other people about it.
I just carry myself around - gravity keeps me grounded...which is one of the reasons I suck at running. Stupid gravity.
I carry a Glock 27, whenever I'm feeling a little insecure. Whenever I remember I have it, I feel warm and peaceful.
I carry a fleshlight at all times.
I carry a football on all my runs. Of course it's never really grounding when I throw it on the ground as I'm always out of the pocket.

So the THEORY goes. Go on believing you can't fly though, if you want.
Never go for some cruise intervals without my long rubber tail securely plugged in my "exit only"
I don't carry it around, but I use a grounding wrist strap whenever I'm at an ESD workstation. Makes me feel confident I'm not damaging the hardware. I think we're supposed to check them daily. The whole workstation is checked monthly. I guess I'm not really sure. I should probably retake my cert to make sure I'm not damaging sensitive hardware.

My goal for 2019 is to become more present and grounded. I am contemplating beginning the practice of carrying a grounding object, and I am interested in other people’s experiences with this technique. How do you select the right grounding object, and how/how often do you check in with it?
You start by finding a flask that fit well in your pocket then decide if your a beam guy or a jack guy. You check in wherever you damn well want.
This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
Try an Olympic size Shot and carry it in a fanny pack. Problem solved.
Back in high school (1980s) my brother carried a little twig (I think he had the same one for years) when he raced. I only found out about it when I was in his room one day and asked him why he had a stick on his shelf.
He was an Ofsaa xc champion; maybe the twig had something to do with it.
You should try carrying a bible.

That will come in handy in case he ever runs out of toilet paper.
I don't leave the house without my lucky bag of Owens-Corning fiberglass insulation.

I always run with a bible in my left hand.
