Okay, I just got diagnosed with blood clots in my leg for the second time. I'm a 41 year old runner, not in the best shape I've ever been in (thanks to the first go-round with blood clots), but I was doing 6 miles/day, about 6:40 pace, when this second round of clotting hit. The vascular surgeon is stumped: I'm "too fit, too thin, and too young" to get these.
Is there anyone out there with any experience with these, and why they would be happening to a reasonably fit Master's runner?
Thanks
