I dont know which is harder to believe an 8:44.33 steeple by a woman or 17 year old running 3:31.18 for 1500m. The women's 800m will have alot of momentum off earlier performances, hell 1:51 wouldn't surprise. This meet is too much....oh yeah 7 men under 3:32. Really Monaco?

1.42/3.28/8.44 is pretty mind boggling. Or eyebrow raising. Isn't the track short someone was saying? ;-) -

How many meets have ever had an 800/1500 combined time faster than today I wonder? -
I always thought this meet was at the perfect time of the year with good pacing and a great venue, but I'm starting to suspect there is something fishy with this track. I think a serious investigation ia necessary.

Multi-lap races = PB's and SB's galore
Straightaway races = nothing

Hello MAPIV
No Im not the only one shocked by tghe ABUNDANCE of super fast time in EVERY middle distance race in Monaco. People smashing their personal best by large amounts or great improvement on seasonal bests as well. Look at Beatrice, Jakob, Gouyle in womens 800m. Every race was insane and pretty deep. -

Something is amiss, Beatrice running 2:55-2:54-2:55 1k splits and finishing smiling and not out of breath after annihilating the WR in the steeple???? -
She and others who watched the race think she could go faster, in fact she stated she now wants sub 8:40. Which is the better performamce 8:44.32 or Paula's 2:15 marathon WR?

The problem this guy has is with the athletes who have to put up with real drug testing performing so well. He literally hates non-Africans.
Monaco is like the Oslo meets back in the day. -

The guys who said the days of letting the Africans cheat and NOT WORRY AT ALL were coming back are right. They hit it on the head. They are going to make all you Westerners pay for talking about the truth. -
Hate really, I hate noone mot even a dim witted moron like yourself MAPIV. I Aactually empathize with your need to wrestle my attention with your lame anti-Vipam posts.
I'm actually suspect of many Monaco winners performances today and all by Africans, so I guess now I hate everyone according to your ignorance. -
Let's not FORGET THE 3:31.18 by a 17 yr old. In my opinion that is one of the best performances by a youth in any event. Can we believe he is clean but Beatrice is dirty. To me both of them as well as a few others raise suspicion to me.

I posted the first post and never again until this (I don't live on this forum).
No clue who you are and I don't hate you in the least, but I still question your initial post and stand by mine. You need to do something better with your time if complaining about runners going fast bugs you enough to post about it. This is what we want and hope for when we watch races, no?
Anti-Vipam posts? I've never posted or responded to you on any thread that I'm aware of and I've never seen your handle till today, whether you believe it or not.
Are you some ex-elite runner? If so I'm clueless again, I don't live here. I rarely post but do check out the results on the homepage.
The get a life loser was unfair, so I retract that and sincerely apologize. -

Vipam’s been around for a long time. In 2002, he famously predicted that Bekele would break Geb’s records, although most were doubtful at the time. -

I agree with this 100 percent. -
Can't discount the steeple was won by 16-seconds.
Even if she was 8:50, she still crushed girls that have run sub-9 by over 15- seconds. -

You're just trying to hide your bias that's been noticed for years. You of the "...Africans won't even take aspirin," crowd. The 17 yr old has to endure year round drug testing while his smirking opponents from certain regions are literally never tested out of season. And with the political money flowing in to make it easier for these non-tested clowns to cheat as they wish we'll see performances rivaling those of the heyday of Bekele's and Geb's drug fueled exploits. -
theyre both drugged up to the eyeballs.definatly not clean.
