Looking forward to it! How will you take into account transfers like the one just hinted at for Dana Hills?

I take into account all verified transfers and coaching changes or if I have a respected source I'll take their word. Several top coaches last year would give me updates on their team like injury reports, etc., to get a good handle on the strength of the team.
Don't sleep on allderdice hs in Pittsburgh. If their fifth man can break 20 they'll be in great shape!
Also would like to know how you will account to Altitude adjustments.

There are no altitude adjustments for cross country. Times are mostly irrelevant from a national perspective. Rankings are based on how top regional and national teams compare to one another when they race head to head. Also, if you are looking for a math based ranking, just stick with Tully. Any other ranking will be based on head to head.

Dana Hills top 5 boys averaged 4:21/9:27 for 1600/3200. They could do well.
One of their top boys is moving/transferring.
They have a transfer coming in that's of the same caliber as the one going out, so it's a wash.
Better be a stud, he was their numba one returner. Name and grade?
Correct, won't quite be a wash, but incoming transfer is a senior who went 4:17/9:38 in spring and is 14:55 3 mile xc. Will be another competitive SoCal and State XC season.

This of course is only my opinion and I would love to debate over if any team should be placed higher or low but I am still confident in this list.
1. Fm
2. St. Francis
3. Bolles
4. Great oak
5. Loudoun valley
6. Burnt hills
7. Central Valley
8. Flower mound
9. CBA New Jersey
10. Dana hills
Some wildcards that may break into this list include Dowling catholic, Middleton, Kamiakin, American fork and Xavier ct.
Interesting! I only really keep track of the WA schools. Why do you have CV in 7th and Kamiakin as an outsider? Track times Kamiakin is way ahead, plus CV has a new coach.

Does the Bolles really have 6th, 7th and 8th graders running on their team?
They’re gonna be so young after class of 2019 graduates
Individuals:
Boys
1. Liam Anderson
2. Drew Bosley
3. Graydon Morris
Girls
1. Katelyn Tuohy
2. Claudia Lane
3. Kelsey Chmiel
Honestly had no idea about the coach change but this list is pretty much entirely based off of returning xc times, places, and speed ratings. CV placed higher at the regional and national meet last year than kamiakin and both teams graduate only two top seven runners. Kamiakin could definitely jump ahead of CV which is why they have wildcard status but as of now CV has a stronger returning xc team.
Bozeman had a new coach in 2016 and won NXN

I'd definitely take Shen off that top 5, can't see then as a top 20 team, and Saratoga is probably more in that 6-10 range at best. For the boys I think American Fork is also a stretch for top 5.
American Fork had 7 guys 16:20 and under at the Steel Days 5k today

Ok?? Random summer 5k times don’t mean that much to me, I don’t know the course so I’m struggling to understand why this is supposed to impress me. If they were all 15:40ish on a full 5k I would give them another look, but I still would slot them somewhere in the mid-teens. They get a lot of hype because of their days with Clinger.
I think CBA should defintely be up in this list. They are bringing back 5 if there top 8 and those 5 are from 9:20-9:45. And that’s without CBAs top 2 guys (a 4:10 guy and a 9:20 indoor 3200m guy) getting the chance to run a fast 3200m outdoors. I wouldn’t be sleeping on them too much. two guys have run 5ks as a junior and sophomore under 15:20 last season. I would say it’s crazy to not have them in the top 5.

I don’t think Mountain Vista boys will be #3 especially if their new 14:53/9:08 transfer from is not allowed to race for that team at NXR/NXN. They graduated 5 of their top 7.

The last few years CBA has had multiple returners in the 9:05-9:30 range and have been ranked high only to disappoint by the end of the season. This year their 3200 times are slower than in recent years. The problems that have plagued them are consistency and the fact that they have to finish their long season with four challenging courses in four weeks.
