What would the ideal plan be in the lead up to an 800m race, like the last 3 days
Current plan is
Mon- 8 mile steady
Tue- 4 mile + 4 x 150m fast
Wed- 4 mile + strides
Thur- shakeout + 800m race

Thur- shakeout + 800m race
Mon: 10 min tempo + 3x200m sub 800m pace. Plenty of rest.
Tues: 4 miles easy + 4x50m hill sprints
Wed: 20-30 minutes + dynamics, easy drills, strides.
Thurs: Race

Assuming afternoon or evening race, then 10min shakeout in the morning would be ideal on race day
Would you recommend do some strides during the morning shakeout on the day of the race?
No, just easy jogging to loosen out the legs
