I have a wife, two young kids an acre of land to tend and THREE hours of commuting per day and also complete all the things you mentioned to do as well. My wife and I still find a decent amount of time to remain social. In a strange way, once we started having kids and bought a house, I feel my time management skills skyrocketed and I actually had MORE free time.
I have a single friend who works a max of 35 hours a week and has a 10 minute walk to work. He has no pets and rents a small studio. Somehow he is always busy . . . and not with skiing or anything fun, it's always laundry or cleaning or something. It befuddles me. I suspect with both him and you, you're massively wasting time on something and could really benefit from finding a way to be more efficient in life.
