Wow, the weather at Boston was atrocious lol, props to anyone who even toed the line let alone finish it, or even get a PB for goodness sake! Saw your new marathon PB OR, can't say I'm surprised, you are an aerobic machine (17:50 5k in the middle of a training run haha). Sorry to hear about your injury smoove, wish you a speedy recovery and hope your knee is back to 100% quickly statfanatic, saw that low 4 minute mile you posted on here about; just ridiculous.
Been away a while, had a niggling injury I wanted to get off my back and school and work were getting increasingly hectic so i thought it'd be the right time for a break to heal things up.
Had one chance to capitalize on my improving fitness and unfortunately that wasn't a 1600 or 800 like I was originally aiming for, but a 400m time trial I ran in 60 which i know is slow for many people here lol but it was a 7+ second improvement for me so I was pretty happy.
I genuinely think I can go faster than that now since my 100m time then was 13.25 and now I've improved to a 12.87 just a couple of weeks back so hopefully I'll be able to see what I can aim for. I'm so far three weeks into base building and have at least 5 or so more to go before I start hitting the track again, hope to emulate the consistency, determination and hard work I see on here to run some decently fast times (for my level at least haha). And by any chance if someone i still reading, I would appreciate any advice/criticism on training or whatever that can help me get faster from you more experienced and much much faster folks!
