Actually early hunter gatherers were fairly tall. People didn't start to shrink until people started farming. Grains and carbs made people shorter and fatter.
Not Neanderthal man, who was short & stocky and ate primarily a high animal protein diet. OTOH, Cro-magnon man, who was much taller and built more for distance running, actually ate a diet much higher in carbs from plants. I, myself, look very much like a Neanderthal being short & stocky and not built for distance running like some of you Cro-magnons are. ?

All of those statements about diet in prehistoric eras are speculation, yet so many people, from the academics to the reporters, make these comments as if the were provable facts. Ridiculous. It's pure theory. It might be right, it might be wrong.
Putin is 5'7" and perhaps worth $200B

Yep.
How is 5'7" short? It's within a couple inches of average in the US and taller than average in some countries.
How has no one mentioned Kevin Hart yet? Weak sauce.
Springsteen and Sinatra- both from NJ, both short, both wildly more successful than Ryan Seadouche
Ryan Seacrist can't hold Danny DeVito's jockstrap:
Actor: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Taxi (Emmy and Golden Globe Awards), Ruthless People, Throw Momma from the Train, Twins, Batman Returns, Matilda, The Lorax, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Producer: Pulp Fiction, Get Shorty, Erin Brockovich, Man on the Moon
Director: Throw Momma from the Train, The War of the Roses, Hoffa
Bernie Ecclestone is 5'3", 87 years old and a billionaire who is married to a 5'10" Brazilian supermodel.

Agree, but most famous & powerful people are tall. So relatively speaking 5'7" is short.

In the US it puts you in the bottom 10% or so for white mans. If you are a hispanic male you are only about 1" below average. And in a place like Denmark you are like 5inches below average. In china you are above average.

Fair point to say it isn’t proven, but I wouldn’t treat every theory about pre-historic man equally, as some are supported by more scientific evidence than others. In the above case, it would seem as if the second poster has provided more supporting evidence regarding the types of diets eaten by early humans and humanoids. The first poster just threw out a statement with no support at all.
Who is Ryan Seacrest?

By the way, if you're 5'7" and work on good posture you'll be as tall as 5'9" guys when you all reach age 40
What if you're 5' 9'' with good posture? You're only saying this because you're 5' 7'' yourself.
Ross Perot, 5' 5". Net worth $4.1 billion.
