I did educate myself by looking at their website. I guess it makes the point that they are paying attention to detail when they don’t keep their site updated for new recruits to look at. So it appears that they have 3 guys sub 8:27? Wisconsin has 2 guys sub 8 and Iowa has 6 guys under 8:26. Minnesota is struggling big time.
Let’s just see what the point totals look like after conference. Remember, it’s track AND field.
I doubt they will be top 5.

In terms of not running the DMR with the studs:
Well, you just showed why you have no business being a coach. He used is two distance guys to get 20 and 11 points and his two short guys to get 12 points - total 43 (plus a couple of others). The DMR is worth 10 total. The DMR is for NCAAs; if you did not see that coming you really don't have a clue.
I understand strategy. My point was to emphasize the lack depth and healthy runners in the distance ranks. Thishas been a recurring theme from multiple posters.
Your point is valid. Indiana scored 42 points in the 3 distance events outscoring WI and still managed to score another 8 in the DMR. They seem to have more than 2 guys who can score but the level of their recruiting is nowhere near that of the Badgers.
Gopher women follow up 2nd in Big Ten Cross with a Big Ten Indoor track title. Clearly having more success than gopher men and both Badger teams.
