Swedes are good-looking people, but not the brightest.
This is the result of disarming your peace-loving civilians. Why don't they start punishing the thugs? Where is Charles Bronson when you need him?

I never thought of Sweden as a high crime country.

Since we went into the European Union with more open borders there is more crime and weapons in our country.
But we still have good weapon control and don`t let everyone have a weapon. So far no shooting in schools and so on.

Fortunately only the criminals have guns.

So you found two shootings in the last 3 years. You know in the time it took me to write this post there have probably been two similar stories in the US.

Where do women feel comfortable jogging at night alone, especially on trails? You are going to tell me women feel safe at night alone in the US because people have guns? Nowhere in the US is unsafe at night for women thanks to guns?
If you read the article (you can translate it), it's meaningless "safe run" program. Pretty much every single College US Campus (that I am aware of) has a safe walk program because women are scared to walk alone at night. It's the same thing. I guess the US just needs more guns so women feel safe at night, right?
You are an idiot.
Sweden has in recent years seen a sharp increase in the number of shootings per capita, with research suggesting that the Scandinavian country is statistically on par with southern Italy and parts of Ireland.
In 2016, some 250 shootings (random, fatal and non-fatal) were registered by police in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. In 2014, that number came to 200, indicating that Sweden is experiencing a drastic rise in such incidents.

It's still not many though is it?
45 murders in 5 years?
Per year, it's about the same as Vermont.
2002 data
Sweden: Total crimes: 1.23 million from 10 million people
USA: Total crimes: 11.88 million from 320+ million people

Give me citations for that and I'll pick apart the data.
It's like when people try to use data to prove that the UK has more violent crime than the US.
