I don’t know much about this guy. How was he structuring 200 mile weeks? Singles? Doubles? Pace?

My short easy run has 800-1,000 of climbing....probably not even a weekly total for the guys that run around ovals.
You're bragging about 1000 feet of climbing? I get that high in the first mile and a half most days, and I'm nobody.
Get a room you two.
Oh and, you're both liars.
I'm saying my SHORTEST RUNs generally net 1,000 feet of climbing in, say, 7 miles. But I can't really go much flatter than that and still run 12-15k for the week. A road marathoner thinks 750 feet in 26.2 miles is "very hilly." That's why MUT runners smirk at "very hilly" comments. Because roadies can't possibly understand how hilly ultras are. If they didn't know they wouldn't say a damn thing.

And this is why Ultra Runners are actually Competitive Hikers. Because nobody runs those damn things, they walk somewhat fast.
Wow that was super weird today when I ran 10 miles with 2,500 feet of climbing at 8:50 avg pace. Where did I find the time to hike? Granted that's not lightning fast but it's probably your vert for 2 weeks.
You can probably beat me by 10 minutes in a road marathon, but I'll have been waiting for you for 2 hours at the end of a 50. Enjoy the hiking.
And mine's a little north of 8". Wait, what are we doing again?

Just guessing, but would you say that is equivalent to around 66 minutes for a flat 10 miler?

Mon-AM: 30 miles (4:00) Started from Red Rocks, then up 666-Jones Park-7 Bridges-Buckhorn-Capn Jacks-Chutes-Stratton+barefoot. Did the 666 hillclimb tempo in 33:23. Very solid.
PM: 4 miles (:33) Monument Loops easy w/ Jocelyn
Tue-AM: 30 miles (4:00) Jones Park-7 Bridges-Buckhorn Loop+barefoot. Almost the exact same run as yesterday---ran fairly hard up 666 in 34:40.
Wed-PM: 8 miles (1:07) Canyon trails in Fruita, CO. Driving all day.
Thu-AM: 15 miles (2:01) Double tracks right out of Austin, NV. A few 1000' climbs.
Fri-AM: 50 miles (7:26) Western States course: Michigan Bluff to Last Chance and back then to Cal-1...with bailing out of Robinson Flat early in the morning and getting lost for miles between MB and Foresthill.
Sat-AM: 48 miles (6:00) WS course: Placer High School to Rucky Chucky and back
Sun-AM: 15 miles (2:15) Big Basin Redwoods State Park w/ Jocelyn: Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail out and back.
Total: 200 miles (27:22)
