Perhaps the craziest thing about the meet though is Alabama went 1-2-3 and somehow was only 8th.

Looks like Washington State "Coug'd" it.
-
Kenyans all from the same school go 1,2,3...I'm both happy for them and irritated by this.
-
Bama with the standard 1-2-3-73-121 finish for 8th.

Dressel ate it

This is hilarious. -
1,2,3 at Notre Dame, 1st at Dellinger, 1st at Griak and in all likelihood 1st at wherever Northern Arizona is competing. Is the Mountain Region to cross country what the SEC is to football?
-
Eduardo Herrera top frosh at 24:00 and #2 man for Colorado. Impressive.
-
Don't forget about Utah State winning at Paul short!
-
You guys never learn. It's early. CU will be rocking SUU and others when it counts.
-
There needs to be a thread on how strong the mountain region is.
ND they sweep the top 3 (top 2 women’s teams)
NAU with 19 at Louisville
BYU with 17 at Dellinger
Utah State wins Paul Short
Did Colorado St win Griak?
Plus a bunch of other solid programs
Goodness...good luck to those 20-30th ranked teams even being top 7 in that region. -
Mountain region looking like it did in 2001 (or was it 2002?). Our team (MSU) was pretty worried about making it out of regionals at all, and then finished 11th at Nationals.

Is Craig Lutz redshirting this year? I did not see his name in the results. He would have kicked some buttt if he had run. -

Huh?? The guy that graduated from Texas? -
I can't remember the last time CU even ran a big Meet this weekend- tells me he probably knows his team needs some points to get into the meet.
-
How did SUU get so good so fast?! Last I remember it was just cam levins and that's it...

Glad to see I've got a heterozygote brother from another mother on here. -
UTEP had guys run first mile in 8:05, 8:05 and 9;56. Strong.

Your right....SUU men need to be ready to run the last 3rd of NCAA Div 1 final with the big boys. They have to be ready to go with them. Thats gonna take 90 minute type progression runs with Tempo pace in the last 11 minutes of the progression run. They don't plan for peak at the right time, and train for the last 3rd...they will fall to pieces. IMHO
