If true he's still on 2:04 flat pace
But slowing down bigly. Not gonna finish there.
Kipsang throwing up, gut problems.
Well how about that Adola tho?
No one runs close to 30km world record out of shape, not even in a marathon.
I think that he needed to take a s**t or something, didn't seem happy about it neither.
Here is Kipsang dropping out.

Was he a secret rabbit???
Wonder if there was a financial incentive for Kipsang to get to 30k. Stopped immediately after.
If that's the case the organizers aren't going to be too happy, won't be getting pulling another quick one like that in the future...
Kipchoge smiling.
Thank goodness Kipchoge has Adola. Or will Adola win?
Adola still a half step behind Kipchoge, keeps looking around.
SLOW 33K: 3:01
Adola mirin' Kipchoge. lol!
The understudy, Adola, having a memorable run. He is wondering, "how long can I hang with this machine?"
Kipchoge definitely working, grimacing ever so slightly.
Kipchoge trying to ride that blue line
1:27:24 at 30k
1:30:23 at 31k
1:33:15 at 32k. Two seconds off WR pace.
So that means they'v erun the last 2km in 5:51. WR pace for 2:54.8 so that would be like 5:49.6 or 5:50.
I mean they basically are on WR pace dead even.
Wait, we just got the 33km split. Now they are slowing down!!
1:36:16 at 33k 3:01 33rd km
That's big 3:01. They can't keep that up.
Looks like we may be getting a repeat of last year. Fast start, great finish but no WR. They can't afford many 3:00 ks!!
Adola not content to follow behind, is running almost side-by-side with Kipchoge
Kipchoge looking a bit uncomfortable, despite announcer claiming the opposite.
Looked like a grimace from kipchoge just before 33 km. Adola looking very relaxed and sizing up kipchoge from his right flank.
Okay, appears that kipsang was having fluid issues. could he have been given the wrong bottle, or his fluids were tampered with?
I felt they were taking too much fluid in anyway. It appeared they were taking in fluids at every 3rd mile.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
