This is a tough one because that schedule would work for some of my runners but not too well for others. I don't personally agree with any more than 2 workouts a week and the race counts as one so I think it's a little over the top. But that is based on my average athlete and how they tend to always mess up their recoveries.

At the end of the day here is the deal. If you are eating an ideal diet, getting 8+ hours of sleep per night, and hydrating properly you can probably handle this.
