I'm glad somebody got a screen shot of that.
But imagine if Colleen wasn't DQed and it was a 1-2-3 sweep with them lying on the ground together.

They spent about a trillion dollars on that stadium, were they unable to afford a retractable roof?

the weather made it a Z minus meet
it's a pity there wan't same weather as in '12 which was very good for a major meet
very unfortunate considering continent was having heatwave with temperatures in spain well over 100
WC shoud only ever be held in guaranteed hot countries, which means in europe they shoud only be in mediterranean countries every time or $ rich arabia or california/florida
i'd be quite happy if every time they held the meet in europe it was in madrid/barcelona/rome/milan/athens
I didn't know you Yanks were so soft.
Calculo lives in London brah

LoL. If you want predictable weather, watch the indoor meets.
They smashed it, it was excellent.
I was in London for a few days, and attended the last two evenings.
The weather was fantastic. The stadium was totally full. The atmosphere was excellent.
(And Justin Gatlin was sitting right behind me on the flight home today. Quiet guy. Seemed a bit embarrassed by the attention - the purser congratulated him for his achievements.)

It was a good look for Track and Field. The one camera angle at the finish showed all the fans in stands. Very cool

They were awful on the track.

Sally Pearson still won gold in 2012 in the pouring rain.
If it boils than to a 'our weather's better than your weather' argument then we should wait to see what a WC outside of the traditional track season because Doha's weather rules out an August champs does for the champs. And then perhaps hang about to witness the Pacific Northwest's attempt at a rain-free ten days. Then decide which was best.
