Don't leave out the American Distance Project with their two front runners Paul Chelimo and Sam Chelanga. The group also has a lot of other talented guys and is an up and coming group!

I think they mean born in America not ex-Kenyan "B" farm team.

Why is making teams the only marker for success?
Everyone mentions Jerry on this board, but do it without looking at history. Most of Jerry's athletes made teams before he signed them. He never talks to media, could that 3 million be better spent?
Alberto gets a ton of exposure, good and bad. His group, unless they go down is worth every penny (and I am sure it is a TON between PR and Nike Brand money on top of team budget).
What about a group where everyone improves at 1/3 the budget?
What about athlete's interacting with media and the community and creating exposure for their brand? You don't need to run in a Nike singlet in some random country, one weekend in August for that to be executed.
If I was a CEO I would look at budget, exposure/reach, and improvement trajectory.
It's MAY! Talking about dropping a club sponsorship now? Is this another bait and click thread? You got me here now but no more.
Who is Jerry?
That's Fine Track Club is doing just fine

Just heard from a team member that a sponsorship deal will be pulling back and the athletes are say good bye.
Pro running is a tough gig.
You haven't really told us anything.
I like the concept of Brooks Beasts. Good to have various teams from different sponsors. But that Mackey dude can't coach his way out of a paper bag. Symmonds and Loxsom drop off in performance. Walker not as good as he was at BYU. A bunch of others never living up to their potential. What is Mackey's background qualifying him to coach?

Assuming the jerry you are talking about is Schumacher, your history comment makes no sense. Here is a rundown of all of the Schumacher athletes that have made national teams before and after working with jerry. Parenthesis include outdoor worlds & Olympics only, 1st number is before jerry, 2nd is under his coaching (duplicate years not counted).
-Jager: 0/5
-Hill: 0/2
-Derrick: 0/1
-Tegankamp: 0/5
-Infeld: 0/2
-Flanagan: 4/4
-Saina: 0/2
-Bumbalough: 0/1
-Solinsky: 0/1
-Nelson: 0/1
-Cragg: 3/1
-Lomong: ?? (made teams in 08/09/12/13, cant remember when he came to jerry)
-Ahmed: 2/2
-Huling: ?? (made teams in 09/11/13/15, cant remember when he switched from gary to jerry)
-Hughes: 1/3
If I missed anyone I apologize, but from that research the only person who made more teams pre-jerry was cragg, and only 1 other athlete made a team as a professional before joining jerry (ahmed and hughes made their teams in college).
Tks!
Some people like to pull crap from their asses
Well you left out 3 2016 Olympians.

I would guess Zap as Reebok stopped making running shoes a long time ago.
Except they are making running shoes, and Zap makes $$ on hosting camps at their facility
This is true. Reebok recently renewed its Zap sponsorship. And their camps are their main income source, so without a shoe deal they would probably have to scale back some, but that wouldn't close their doors.
"Exposure" like there is an actual business plan is just an excuse to pay or not pay an individual or a group.
These groups receive charity which allows them to recruit anybody (usually NCAA Champions and men/women who can make Olympics immediately). They are truly professional.
NOP, Bowerman.
These groups should be better, but don't have the recruiting/coaching skills, but the support is there for sure. Problem is there aren't many open spots on team up for grabs.
Brooks Beasts, NB Coogan, BAA Mahon, OTC
NYNJ is good middle distance and Cabral in steeple. Hoka will help stabilize the group while Gags can't coach forever. Highly doubt anyone will actually make a team however.
Nor cal funding is a bit of a mystery with all different brands in the group. Grace and Kim are the anchors and quite a drop off after them. Those 2 certainly have big enough contracts. Leah may have once had a similar contract but will need to return to form.
College coaches that don't worry about support outside of their college support system and continuing on. Their athletes have great individual contracts.
Ray Treacy (several women), Lee Labadie (Murphy)
Asics Furman Elite does well (steeple) but not much talent and very minimal support from Asics.
Zap Fitness has a good support model, but too far back in recruiting to hope for anything beyond road racing and maybe making it to USATF meet.
NAZ Elite is a little better than Zap with some of the lesser teams being doable.
Lastly, the Soratos, Wheating, Hunter that aren't in a group and would be content to make a final.
Not getting pulled in to your agenda.
When laid out like that, it really shows you a tremendous amount of support nowadays for post-collegiate running. I know Bowerman and NOP are the biggest/best, but some good support for those willing and wanting to work hard!

Of these only four have long distance races.
I don't have the numbers in front of me but I think the Army and adp have dominated so far.

Looks semi-official for Furman Elite - athletes scattering (Garcia to Sacramento, more C-level folks elsewhere). Website already down, social media is stalled.
These are sub-elites. They just don't have any presence outside of small prized money road races in US. There is no marketing value.
