A sub 16 guy does not need any preperation to run a sub 3 min k. He doesn't need perfect pacing. He doesn't need spikes. Heck, I'd bet he doesn't even need to warm up. He sipmly needs to get to a track, run 2.5 laps, and record his time.
3 min for a k IS NOT FAST PEOPLE.
