Bump. I've been looking at the GoMeb and GoRuns. I usually were stability shoes like Brooks Adrenaline and Asics GT. Would Skechers work for that type of runner?

Don't know. GoMeb Razor is a great neutral shoe. Light, flexible, fits good. Love it. But for stability runner? Maybe some other models than the GoMeb?
@above I used to wear "stability" shoes for years but have since switched to neutral since I was tired of how clunky stability shoes are. I have run faster times since and believe that for more than 99% of runners out there stability shoes are not ideal-it's just not natural to be running in such heavy, clunky shoes. That being said, I have used other neutral shoes to much success from adidas and most recently skechers GoRun. Love them.

Fyi, the stability shoes that I buy typically don't have an excess of cushioning as compared to something like the Brooks Beast.
I looked at the Skechers website and they only seem to have 3 models for the serious runner at the moment: GoMeb Razor, GoRun 5, and Go Ultra Road 2. The GoMeb's look great for faster stuff, the GoRuns look good for regular runs, the Ultras look like they have too much cushioning (intended for the bigger runner?). I think they are all pretty much neutral shoes.
There is a Skechers outlet store about an hour away so maybe I will check that out.
And good lord, you can find some deals on these babies.
I rocked the "Go Run" series shoes, by far they were the cheapest shoes i've ever worn.
Reasons for the shoes sucking:
1. They aren't designed for forefoot striking, the forefoot will rip within 85-110 miles of usage.
2. Very crappy upper.
3.Little to no cushion and the cushion that does exist wares away way to fast due to the crappy foam they use.

Thanks, the durability is one of my concerns. I wonder how they would hold up for someone who runs a decent amount. You can find them for so cheap that it's not much of an investment to try them out, but maybe there is a reason for that....
