This is an area I am looking into for sure. Did you move for a job as well?

Running at Waterton Canyon (no dogs allowed) and Chatfield Reservoir along C470 (Hwy. 121 exit) are excellent for running, if you are tied to working and living near South Denver (below exit 200 on I-25).

If your willing to drive just a bit I would check out Longmont. It's only about a 30 min drive to Westminster and there really isn't any traffic to deal with during the week. Rents are way way cheaper than down in the Westminster, Louisville, boulder area. Running in Longmont is pretty decent too. If you have other question let me know and we can exchange #'s.

You'll be close to Boulder, so you can go run there, but there's also some good trails off of highway 93 up by the foothills. Westminster has some good places to run up around Front Range Community College.

You also might want to check out Louisville and Lafayette. I'd say Boulder as well, but it's pretty pricey.

So I am going to be in the area checking some stuff out next week before I move. Where exactly are these trails near the community college, I want to try and get a couple (slow, coming from sea level) runs in.

I had the same problem some years ago when I had to move to Denver because of work and I also wanted to have the house in a good place. Now the Broomfield is one of my favorite sectors where I live for some years. When I moved here I had a problem with how to transport all my boxes and my neighbor told me about https://valenciamoversinc.com/ and I called them. They came fast and loaded all the things in some hours and on that night I was in my new house unpacking all the boxes.
