I propose that on everyone's birthday starting at age 10, they are REQUIRED, by LAW, to be dropped off X number of miles from there home and walk back, with "X" being half their age. This would be the standard through the age of 50, then for aging allowances the percentage/distance of the walk goes down incrementally until one reaches the age of 80 (when they only have to walk one mile). The progession would look like this, I hope it pastes correctly:

11 5.5

Thus, EVERYONE from the age of ten would have to think about being fit for their distance next year. Some alloances for legit medical reasons (I gotta be fair about this.) Or else, be eliminated. Sound fair?
