You can tell you are all kids. I would advise you to not drink in high school. If you get caught by the cops or your coach the consequences could be devastating. It happened to me. I was caught drinking my senior year of high school and was removed from our track team for the season. I was one of the best in the state and missed out finishing my senior year on the track. Wait to drink the beer in college. Once you are in college you deal with a different set of rules. Don't be stupid and ruin your high school running career.
Well I have found two things regarding drinking. Frist off drinking a good bit more then you need the night befor a race tends to produce a good race. Maby it has to do with the fact that your fuled up, without being hevey. On the flipside if you get into the rutine of drinking often, that will catch up with you. Not quickly but it will catch up with you. Be it 90 day 180 days or 30 days, sooner or later your body will get run down. As even small amount of Al scrow up your sleeping cycles all night. And you can only go without sleep so long befor you brake down.
