This is outlandishly awful advice. Your coach seems to know what he is doing, especially since I presume he helped get you to 4:32.
There IS a point to doing slower 200s. There IS a point to doing 5 min rest between 400s, no matter what all of the letsrunners say (the typical fog-brained 60-90s jog etc). Why am I even responding to this nonsense.
