Early voting finally started in my state today. (I already dropped my absentee ballot at a drop off box. I hate lines)
My local news feed showed pictures of long lines 15 minutes before the 7 am opening.
I am still concerned about election day which I assume will be the largest group of voters coming out with their usual polling places closed and few choices of where to vote.
Are hard core anti-maskers simply not going to vote? I can't imagine any polling places that will allow people to stand in line or go into a building without a face covering.
This will be a chaotic final week leading up to November 3rd.
You sort of allude to this - since dems are much, much more likely to vote early, if lines are absurd on election day, the people shut out are more likely to be Rs than Ds. Advantage Biden.
Although breaking this down state by state would be more helpful. Losing 100,000 R voters in a deep red state might not make much difference.
