Rupp is a far better long distance runner than Centric us a middle distance runner hoping otgers fall apart so he can medal. Of course he still a great runner in a situation and kick but he's no record breaker

Sure it was tactical and he's a great runner, but he won't go down in history as one of the greats - times not nearly fast enough. Sad!

Hill's PB is 7:30 (outdoor) and he is probably the only other american who can kick with Centro in a 3k. they should go for it. most people aren't in 7:30 3k shape in Mid-January though. UNLESS THEY ARE IN SALAZAR'S TRAINING GROUP
I was about to say this. Jerry's guys are almost never in great shape during indoors (obviously not always true). There's always talk about them and going after a fast race here or there, and it rarely happens. I would love to see a fit Centro and a fit Hill really go after it here.
Huh? Jager and Hill were both 7:40 guys last year, with Bayer under or around 7:45. Ahmed and Hughes are in great shape right now, and Derrick has only built on top of his 27:38. "Almost never" certainly doesn't apply last year or this year. Though, you were able to hedge your statement with "though not always true" to cover all the years prior, I suppose? I would not bet against any of those guys, especially Ahmed.

That's exactly what I thought when I read the post. It's voice and structure is exactly like a Trump tweet.
