Look - most people are marrying and/or using someone for something. She is hot and yes 150k is not much - but it is to some people. All women use their sexuality to get what they want and most men (if they have money) will use it to get what they want. You will both be happy for six months. As many have said, you both are using each other for one thing or another. Frankly, your marriage is not going to last at this pace. If you intent is to spend a few years together and then move to a different person, then go for it. But if you have any interest in making the relationship last for the long term, check out the article I link below and look at the research from The Gottman Institute. As a petroleum engineer you are living/working in some pretty rural places where there aren't a whole lot of women to date. I'm guessing most of the money gone for trips to decent places. Someday you may end up in a major city where the selection is better. If you are having doubts now then don't marry her. Don't let a date get set. Pull back the spending to "save for your future since you are unsure of how long you want to live this lifestyle" and take trips on your own to meet other women.

How has no one mentioned this yet? We have NO idea where he lives. If he is living in a city where the cost of living is pretty average then $150k goes a LONG way. If you're living in NYC and commenting on this, then yes, absolutely it does not make you wealthy. 150k for 28 years old? That's top .1% for 28 year olds in the US. Some of you seem to live in a false reality. That or you're living in limbo, as explored in Inception. It's time to wake up, and come back to reality. If you're making $150k in AL or MS, then you're living a good life.

Dude, get out as soon as possible. Women like that will destroy you. Sex is temporary, even good sex. The negative side effects of women like that lasts much longer.
