Just because the kid has a life and is not a track nerd like the rest of us does not mean he doesn't care. Bigger picture is he lost his support going into trials.

He was 19. End of thread. That's all there is to it. He will be fine a year or two.
Kipchoge handled El G and Bekele when he was a year younger.
the comments about brazier are just too stupid.
the guy ran 143 at age 19 and he gets criticized and second guessed.
missing the olympics is a great blessing because you can ruin a young guy with a long season.
anyone can blow an 800,
brazier can take his time to add 10 or so miles to his schedule.
he's done great. he needs to ignore grey, wojo and do what he was doing but add on the volume gradually .... like maybe up 10 percent per year....

10% per year won't get him through rounds at the WCs - if he gets through the much easier rounds at the nationals. But I agree with most of what you wrote. The kid has 1:41 potential for sure, but it's not like Murphy dropping a second or so off his 800 time while he concentrates more on the 1500 is entirely out of the question...
It funny how the pain the cucks suffered at seeing the hated paleface Clayton Murphy succeed and medal in Rio influenced the way the article about Brazier was handled.
Speaking from experience A&M was butt hurt. The decision to go pro didn't fit Henry's plan. They talk to top performers about going pro but not about how it's done or a follow up plan... staying in college station, where you will live, how you will support yourself. Thank God he didn't get injured on Henry's watch. No red shirt option, no visit to the hospital. Oh back to the original subject, no guidance from the coaches that were with him the most. After the glory of NCAA's, Henry had a different agenda. I'm sorry Donovan, best of luck to you.

He had not peaked.
Would you say Murphy peaked with his NCAA 1500? If he listened to you, he'd not have that bronze.
What does how another runner's season went have to do with the question at hand?
Emma Coburn to miss Olympic Trials after breaking ankle in Suzhou
