I know I said the same about the 1500 and 10k, but the 3K just seems like a lost cause.
Is there anyone who could even pace it?

Oh.
Let me get ahead of the trolls.
Is there any WOMAN who could break the womens 3k world record?
No Jama Juice = no record

A 3:50-3:55 woman on max EPO, steroids, GW15, IGF long, meldonium, SARMS, etc could do it if she had a large injection of corticosteroids 4 days before the race.
If she did it at a small race with no testing, and then got on an airplane to Mongolia and hid somewhere.

Pretty big jump over a period of 48 hours in 1993.
"Ma has been accused of numerous doping offences over the past two decades - all of which he denies - and it has now emerged that Wang, who also holds the 3,000m world record, apparently signed a letter back in 1995 detailing being forced to take “large doses of illegal drugs over the yearsâ€.
Yeah, they ran an IV drip over night.

Zhang Linli had broken the world record in an earlier heat on sept 12th?
Don't you just hate when you break a distance event world record in the heats, just to have your record taken away by 10 seconds in the next heat?

Sure. 8:06 is equivalent to 3:47/14:14/29:33. There are probably a few women right now who could take a shot at the record, Almaz Ayana and Genzebe Dibaba being the obvious ones.

I would really like to know where the math came from that 8:06 is equivalent to 14:14.
4:03 and 4:03 back to freakin back is not equivalent to 14:14.

Probably the most accurate response.
Haha, 8:06 and 2:15 are at the same level.

It came from here.
https://www.mcmillanrunning.com/results?hours=&minutes=8&seconds=06&distance=3000m&goalDistance=10km&ghours=&gminutes=&gseconds=All of these conversions are guesses at best anyway. Another rule is that 5000 pace is about 5% slower than 3000 pace; using this, 8:06 is equivalent to 14:10-12.

Wait a second. There is more:
Wang Junxia ran the 10K in 29:31.78, with the second place Zhong Huandi also breaking the old world record of Ingrid Kristiansen of 30:13.74.
Wang Junxia ran the last 5k of the 10K race in 14:26.0, which broke Kristiansen's 5K WR of 14:37.33. She also ran the last 3K in 8:17.47, which broke Kazankina's 3K WR by more than 5 seconds, to finish the 10K race.
11 Chinese women ran faster than 31:33.
2 days later she runs the 1500m heat in 4:01.55. The slowest of 12 qualifiers for the final runs 4:02.44. In the final, Qu Yunxia runs a WR 3:50.46, Wang Junxia is second in 3:51.92, with 7 Chinese women under 4:00.
The next day was the 3000m heats, with 5 Chinese women under the old WR of 8:22.62. In the final the next day, Wang Junxia runs 8:06.11.
Other events were won in NR times of 11.02 100m, 12.64 100m hurdles, 22.56 200m, 49.81 400m, 1:55.54 800m with 6th place in 1:58.48. 11 minor Chinese runners and people from other sports failed doping tests (anabolic steroids?) at the Games, but none of the new WR holders.
Some East German coaches had recently visited China. Kazankina from Russia held the old WRs, and served a 2 year ban for refusing a doping test at a meet. The first EPO test was not until the year 2000, when many Chinese athletes, including some of Ma Junren's athletes, were pulled from the Chinese team before the Olympic Games, and did not compete. A Chinese swimmer was also caught with many vials of HGH at the time.
